The Journal of Bio-Nano Systems and Applied Research, published by Eurasian Academy of Medicine and Dentistry (EAMD), is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to research at the interfaces of biological systems, nanoscale science and engineering, advanced materials, and applied technologies. The journal emphasizes studies that translate bio-nano concepts into experimentally validated materials, devices, platforms, models, and systems with relevance to medicine, dentistry, biotechnology, diagnostics, therapeutics, sensing, environmental and industrial applications, and other areas in which biological function and nanoscale engineering intersect.
The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, methodological papers, technical studies, and interdisciplinary contributions that advance the understanding, design, fabrication, characterization, modeling, or application of bio-nano systems.
The journal’s scope includes:
Bio-nano interfaces and interactions between nanomaterials, biomolecules, cells, tissues, microorganisms, and biological environments
Nanobiotechnology and bionanotechnology, including bio-enabled and bio-inspired nanoscale materials, structures, and processes
Nanomaterials for biomedical and biological applications, including nanoparticles, nanocomposites, nanofibers, nanofilms, porous materials, and functional nanosurfaces

Nanotoxicology, biocompatibility, biodistribution, degradation, environmental fate, safety assessment, and risk evaluation of bio-nano materials and systems
Green and sustainable synthesis of nanomaterials using biological resources, microorganisms, enzymes, plants, or environmentally responsible processes
Bio-nano technologies for environmental monitoring, remediation, food, agriculture, and industrial biotechnology where a clear biological-nanoscale interface is central to the study
Advanced characterization of bio-nano systems, including structural, chemical, mechanical, electrical, optical, interfacial, and biological evaluation across relevant length scales
Translational, scale-up, manufacturing, reproducibility, standardization, quality, and regulatory considerations for bio-nano materials, devices, and applied systems
The journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary work that integrates biology, chemistry, materials science, physics, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, computational science, medicine, or dentistry to solve clearly defined scientific or technological problems.
Submissions must demonstrate a substantial connection to nanoscale science or engineering and a meaningful biological, biomedical, biotechnological, environmental, or applied systems dimension. Manuscripts focused solely on general materials science, conventional biology, clinical observations, or computational analysis without a clear bio-nano contribution are outside the journal’s scope.
